Rio - A Trip Back in Time

Sinead on the phone to england - a concurrent theme of the trip. She will binge on phone calls, then complain about how big her bill will be.


This is the Corcorvado mountain - the lil spec on the top is the 50ft statue of christ. The whole mountain is covered in jungle. Rio has the largest urban forest on the planet. If it got cut down then the temperature of the city could rise by 3C.


We decided to climb the 2 Brothers mountain. It had nice views of Ipanema beach and Leblon beach also.

The lane outside our place in Rocinha - nearly all the roads look like this here. I would´ve taken more photos outside but firstly I didn´t want to be like i´m on a poor people safari + second I´m a pussy.



So this is where we stayed in Rocinha. Very simple, but clean and nice. I liked it here coz there wasn´t much to do at night so we had time to sit, sleep, lie down, read, think..............

......... and take photos of myself through the medium of a plastic bottle.
